Man! What a good tune up can do for you! When I first received the mustang it idled pretty rough and got about 10 miles to the gallon. I change the spark plugs with a proper gap for the MSD Blaster coil, change the oil with synthetic, clean the K&N, clean the throttle body and intake, bump the timing to 14 degrees advanced, and POW! 18 miles to the gallon. Plus a hell of a lot smoother idle and better throttle response. The top end also feels a lot better too. I guess it’s time to throw it on a dyno and see what it does.
