I changed the fuel filter on the 89 stang. It started with a smoother idle than normal so it was probably due for a change. I started to change out the spark plugs when I remembered I need a swivel head socket wrench to get to the passenger’s side rear spark plug. So there ended the tune up. I managed to get some pics in the computer of the mustang before I send her to get painted. I know I said I was going to change the carpet this weekend, but I figured I should wait for my floor mats to arrive so I wouldn’t wear the new carpet too much. Plus if I’m goind to pull out the seats, I might as well re-upholster them also.

I’m testing WordPress Multi User for release. I would like to allow a free customizable wordpress blog for everyone. I haven’t been able to get it running properly yet, but it’s coming along. As soon as I have it under control I’ll release it to the public on one of my domains. I have a mild interest coming from certain art communities to own a personal online newsletter (aka - a blog).

Got my new molded carpet today. I figure I’ll try to put it in this weekend. Finally, the first step toward getting rid of the porno red interior. Next step - black with grey accents for door panels.

After looking around for a 89-92 convertible that was still in decent condition. I finally found one. I looked at ten cars before I found one devoid of an accident. Man some people really want alot of money for a pile of shit. I finally found one in decent shape. The only body discrepancy was some chipped paint on the bumper cover from a bush getting blown into it during last year’s hurricane. I say who cares. I don’t like white anyways, especially the triple white of the car (pony rims, body, vert top).
As I’m changing the oil I notice I have a full exhaust on the car. Shorty tubular headers, Off Road H pipe, cat back exhaust. Also done is the drop-in K&N, MSD Blaster Coil, ACCEL wires, and a short belt by-passing the air pump. I have a good start with the car.

The interior is in good shape, but is not my style. It’s the porno red that used to come with alot of the LX 5.0’s. I’m already starting to gut that for a gray and black color scheme.

I took the time to upgrade to WordPress 2.0 today. I actually came from a Nightly Build of pre 1.5. The upgrade was smooth and the admin interface is very nice. Alot more javascript built in. The look is cleaner and easier to use also. I’ve only done a few things with it so I can’t go into much detail, but from what I’m seeing the upgrade is worth the time.
